Biographical Sketch

Dr. Robert Charles Sproul (1939-2017) was an American, Calvinist theologian, and pastor. He was the founder and chairman of Ligonier Ministries (named after the Ligonier Valley merely outside of Pittsburgh, where the ministry started equally a study center for higher and seminary students) and tin be heard daily on the Renewing Your Mind radio broadcast in the U.s.a. and throughout 60 countries. R. C. Sproul was ordained to the gospel ministry by the Pittsburgh Presbytery (UPUSA) on July 18, 1965.
